For many of us, the new year brings thoughts of organization, healthier living, and a fresh start for a new year. By featuring entrepreneurs each month, we hope to inspire you to follow your passion and work hard for your dreams. We have decided to showcase our own Mary Righton Brown for the month of January as her story and message are inspiring to those looking to try something new in the coming year. She is excited to bring Flow Yoga to Augusta and will hopefully inspire some of you to turn over a new leaf and try an exciting new form of exercise. Whether it be finding time each week for longer walks, hitting the gym, or enjoying a Flow class with Mary Righton, we wish for you an extraordinary 2012 year.

Bethany Lamb

Bethany Lamb is a creator of beautiful and tasteful sweets. She started Sweet B's Sweetery from her home in Augusta, GA. Her story is similar to Vera's, both Georgia peaches with teaching degrees and a passion for the culinary arts and good taste!

Baking is Bethany's passion. She loves every step of it. She says "I find it beautiful. The way the ingredients look when they come together. The feel of the dough. The smells. Baking makes me happy."

She hasn't had any formal training in the culinary arts. It all comes from hands on experience. She actually has a teaching degree, but would rather be in the kitchen baking.

VeryVera has been happy to have Bethany working in our kitchen during the busy holiday season. We gave Bethany the chance to expand her business by selling her holiday cookies in our retail store, and promoting her business through email blasts. We truly enjoy working with Bethany and look forward to watching Sweet B's success get... sweeter!
