Sign up now for classes in our 2011 Winter Cooking Series. Each month, we will offer one class with 2 date options available. Explore the fall through culinary adventures in September, October, November & December. Each class includes all recipes exercised, lunch, and a bag of treats to take home.

Registration is $50 for ages 8-14. (sign up for all 4 classes offered and save $25.)

June 25 - 29: Advance Beginner (no experience; ages 10 - 14)
None the week of July 4
July 9 - 13: Intermediate (one year experience; ages 9 - 14)
July 16 - 20: Intermediate (one year experience; ages 9 - 14)
July 23 - 27: Advance ( 2 - 3 years experience ; ages 10 - 14 )
July 30 - August 3: Advance ( 4 + years experience ; ages 11 - 14 )



Vera's SCHOOL OF GOOD TASTE Franchise
Vera Stewart has hosted the "School of Good Taste" cooking camp for the last seven years for children interested in the culinary arts. Beginning Spring of 2011, VeryVera is extending the opportunity to VeryVera customers to become a part of this successful franchise! By becoming part of the franchise, you will learn how to successfully host your own cooking camp for children ages 8-10 and earn some money at the same time! Each "School of Good Taste Cooking Camp Package" is affordably priced at $2,500 with margins to show immediate profit.

The "School of Good Taste Cooking Camp Package" is comprised of...
• A VeryVera kid's cookbook! Complete with kid friendly recipes and ideas that can be given to each camper.
• Instructional DVD that provides instruction on how to host a cooking camp.
• Shopping lists for groceries needed for the week and ideas for collecting supplies.
• Weekend long training seminar at VeryVera, providing training for hosting your own cooking camp! The weekend is complete with breakfast at VeryVera, training during the day, and a farewell dinner Saturday night! The training will be held the weekend of March 12th-13th.
• A ton of fun both for you, the cooking camp host, as well as your campers!

Calling All Scholarship Recipients
In 1997 a high school student that was our Delivery Person gave me the incentive to put into reality the idea I had dreamed of for years: to create a scholarship program for young people that rewarded a strong work ethic and an aspiration to go after their own DREAMS. Until 2002, ten young people were given the $1,000 scholarship, thus forever linking them to our company history and allowing VeryVera to participate in their lives. I am proud to introduce you to each of these young people to share their experience in working with VeryVera and how they have utilized their scholarship to pursue their own careers. As we continue to work towards the constant development of the VeryVera brand, we hope one day to be able to reinstate the scholarship program, as we have continued to be a strong advocate for teenagers through our after school program and our Cooking Camp series.
